Are 2 days sufficient for this course? 

With his past experience, the tutor has a track record in delivering this course over 2 days with excellent results. This course is aimed at experienced electricians and the primary objective is to familiarise you with the requirements while carrying out Electric Vehicle charger installations. 

Can I come and have a look at your training centre before I book a course?

We will be thrilled to give a tour of our facilities. Please contact us to arrange a suitable day and time for your visit.

What are the timings and the structure of the course?

The course runs from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. It is taught over one day and the exam and assessment is undertaken on the second day.

Is there parking at the centre?

Yes, there is ample free parking onsite.

What do I need to bring? 

Please bring the IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation book and the Onsite Guide, unless you have purchased it from us.
Also you will need highlighters, Post-it index flags and a scientific non-programmable calculator and your Photo ID (Driving License/Passport)

Can I make notes or references in the books?

The IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation book taken into the exam can contain the following:
  • Bookmarks (eg blank post-it notes, post-it notes numbered to indicate chapters or corners of pages folded).
  • Highlighting of text.

The IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation book taken into exams cannot contain the following:
  • Sample exam questions, answers or diagrams.
  • Any writing in the or accompanying written notes.

Please note we are unable to provide you a spare book if your book doesn't meet the above requirements.

When will I get my results and certificate?

We will be able to give you the result after you complete the online exam.
We will be able to send you the e-certificate within the next 3-4 weeks.
The physical certificate will be sent to you as soon as it is received from the awarding organisation, usually within 3-5 weeks of course completion. 

Can I re-sit the exam/assessment if I fail and what are the costs?

You are able to have up to 3 re-sits. Cost of each re-sit is £45 incl. VAT at the centre.

Is there any place to stay close by?

We are located very close to Premier Inn Nottingham North (Daybrook) which is only 3 min drive or a 15 min walk and offers excellent prices.

Does the price include VAT?

All the prices on our website include VAT and we issue VAT invoices.
