Great place to do all your electrical courses, The team is amazing from Administration to Tutors, they will do everything to help you pass the course. I've completed, Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391-52 with Total Skills. With no experience in the electrical field, i struggled a little bit with 2391 but the team helped to make me understand and passed the course. Next step is NVQ and EV course.

I recently completed my Level 2 Electrical Installation course and had a great experience from start to finish. The flexible structure worked perfectly around my job, allowing me to study at my own pace and properly understand the content. The weekend practical sessions were a huge advantage. The tutors were excellent throughout. Their guidance, attention to detail, and support during the practical sessions really built my confidence. From day one through to assessment, the standard of teaching was first class. I felt well prepared going into each of the exams and the practical assessment, achieving strong results across all areas. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into the electrical industry.

Pretty much finished up with my Level 2 and Level 3 with Total Skills. A special mentioned is needed for instructors Kris and Shaun. It’s obvious that they both have a great attitude toward the industry and profession and aren’t there just to tick boxes to pass candidates through the qualifications.

Brilliant place, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, recently completed my 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course. The App is easy to use, navigate and certainly helps prepare you adequately to pass the course.

I went to Total Skills for my Level 2 and Level 3 electrical training and honestly they were brilliant. The team are really helpful and friendly, and they create a great environment to learn in. They take the time to explain key topics clearly, which made a huge difference in my understanding. Thanks to their support I passed with virtually 100% across all my exams. The facilities are excellent and everything is set up to give you the best chance of success. Couldn’t recommend them enough – a great team all round.

Completed my 2391-52 course here and had a nice time, very well taught with a in depth testing training day and engaging theory lessons!

I've just completed my Level 2, Level 3 and 18th Edition with Total Skills. The training team are knowledgeable and helpful, and the admin side efficient and quick to answer any questions or help out with classroom and exam session bookings. Overall it's been a great experience

Excellent course with extremely knowledgeable instructors. Very friendly team, I thoroughly enjoyed and have massively benefited from completing the course. Travelled from Scotland to attend and would make the journey again in the future for new courses.

Just completed my Level 2 in Electrical Installation. Must say it was a very well structured course and the practical sessions were great. Chris and Sean were the two teachers I personally met and they were very assisting. I plan to do my level 3 with them too.

Absolutely fantastic teaching from Rich and Kris, I was concerned about the 2391 course I was taking due to not working in testing day to day, but the guys really made me feel at ease. As the week went on I became more confidant and was able to approach each exam with a clear, focussed, methodical approach, this was all down to the way Rich and Kris taught the course. Very much recommend booking any electrical course through Total Skills, due to the high quality teaching.

The instructors were knowledgeable, and the course content was delivered clearly and professionally. It's a good preparation for work in the electrical field.

A massive thank you to TOTAL SKILLS, I passed my 2391-52 Inspection and Testing! The course material taught by Richard was second to none and practical sessions with Kris meant that I felt ready to undertake the assessments as soon as it was time. Both tutors were very helpful and answered any questions to point me in the right direction needed! I would HIGHLY recommend undertaking any courses here but especially the 2391-52! First of all, I would like to sincerely thank TOTAL SKILLS for helping me complete 2391-52 in such a short period of time. To be honest, this course was not as easy to pass as I initially imagined—it was actually quite a challenging subject. However, under the guidance of TOTAL SKILLS instructor Richard, I was able to quickly organize and understand the previously confusing knowledge in my mind. They also provided plenty of practice materials, which were more than enough to prepare me for multiple exams. In addition to the theoretical lessons, the practical training instructors continuously pointed out my mistakes during my learning process, allowing me to learn from them and quickly correct my habitual errors. As a result, I was able to successfully pass the exam within a short period of time.

Recently completed the 2391 course with the team at total skills. From the moment I enrolled I was sent a link to download an app so I could revise prior to even attending the course. So if you're planning and booking the course. Book it. Spend a month or so revising with the information they've sent you and what ever else you can get your hands on and then when you get to the test centre you'll be able to crack on straight away and actually have an understanding of what they're talking about.The 2391 is a difficult exam and is stressful. The team do everything they can to make the environment as comfortable as possible given the circumstances that you're probably doing one of the hardest exams there is. The teaching is in depth and if you're unsure of anything ask and they will guide you in a way that you understand. I recommend the team at total skills for their genuine commitment in producing 2391 qualified electricians and their dedication to quality training along the way.

I enrolled with Total Skills at the start of 2024 on a combined L2 & L3 course. All of the learning is done remotely and is easy to follow, if assistance is required the team at the centre are on hand to help. Practical assessments and exams are all done at Total Skills in Nottingham. The facilities are excellent and continually being updated. The speed of learning is entirely dependent on the individual and can be completed quickly or at a more leisurely pace if required. I cannot thank the team enough for the help they have given me (and continue to do) during my courses and subsequent NVQ. I would highly recommend Total Skills for those wishing to embark on a career in the Electrical industry be it as a school leaver or in my instance as an adult learner changing career later in life.

Excellent place for C@G 2365 Electrical installations. I did my level 2 course here, and I was really impressed with how professional they are. Both the background administration work and course content, aswell as very thorough practical sessions, it's hard work but very rewarding. I did some research before choosing Total Skills and I'm really pleased with them, I would recommend to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience at TotalSkills electrical training centre in Nottingham. Richard, our tutor, was exceptional in running the course. His knowledge and teaching style made complex concepts easy to understand. Additionally, Lucy's administrative support and handling of examinations were seamless and efficient. I highly recommend TotalSkills for anyone looking to gain electrical training expertise. The combination of excellent teaching and strong administrative support ensures a smooth and rewarding learning journey.

I did the Level 2 2365 course with Total Skills. Pros: All the people I met there are great. Modern app for learning on the go. Theory training is good although it is pretty much all just third party YouTube videos. Cons: Workshop tools and fittings are poor quality or often missing all together. There is no rush on practical training so you will probably need to plan for a fair few days travelling to Notts and think about cost and time involved. Overall I'd give Totalskills and 7 out of 10 as they need to improve the practical side of things.

Theory side of things is ok, some errors in the questions and answers but overall pretty good, videos are lifted from the YouTuber GSH Electrical, in case you want to get a feel of what to expect. The practical sessions are really where this place shines, Chris and Gareth were really patient with me, as someone who's never done any DIY or even touched a drill before, they really helped prepare me for the practical assessment. Thank you.

Can't recommend Total Skills enough, great centre, great staff, very supportive atmosphere. Took my wiring Regs and 2391 here and found them great both times. Will definitely use them again for any training courses in the future!

Completed my leve 2, level 3, 2931 inspection and testing and currently doing the NVQ with Total Skills. Brilliant trainers (Kris and Richard) and all the support you can hope from the office (Lucy). Really flexible hybrid courses to accommodate all your needs, I can't recommend them enough, they are amazing.

2365 L3 was completed between January & October 2023. I have always felt welcome at Total Skills. The tutors have offered top notch guidance on the practical sessions. In terms of the longer, written exams, support has been given by tutors who have looked over my notes and provided advice to aid my revision and success in exams. I had previously completed 2365 L2 with Total Skills. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to take either 2365 course.

Total Training for total skills. Just completed my final 203 exam after completing my assessment last month. I thought the practical training was A1 class as i didnt have any experience in electrics when i first started. I thought kris who i dealt with most was an exceptional trainer who had plenty of time for everyone and explained and helped in every way possible and i heard off others that the other teachers are just the same, Lucy and the other clerical staff were very helpful when i emailed them with all my queries etc. The course itself was very well thought through covering a wide range of things. The app has everything you need and more with videos and ebooks and mock exams. The assessment was a nice and relaxed atmosphere with some tunes lol. The practical electrical training was down to a T and i recommend this to anyone new to the electrical world and is the best way to start. I travelled 3 hours there, It was worth every journey. Personally if there is anyone else looking out there at courses then i wouldnt look no further than here because quite simply you aint gonna get nothing better, Its all in your own pace and your own time also .You decide, You can even do exams in your own home too. All round an excellent centre and course with all the excellent staff to go with it.

Brilliant training provider, and brilliant trainer! Did my 18th edition a couple weeks ago. The trainer clearly knew his trade and was able guide the class to a good result. Not your usual boring training of sitting and listening, but really engaging! I was looking for a 18th edition course at short notice and these popped up on my doorstep. Would recommend to anyone.

A good company with knowledgeable staff and patient tutors; they will coach you and ensure the highest standards. They support businesses, sole traders and individuals. The company has a training app and other learning materials to provide you with the resources to succeed. I completed the City and Guilds 2391-52 course with total skills, which is a 5 day course; but due to my confidence, I required additional practice days (which were vital in passing) I would recommend this company for specialist training: in domestic, commercial and industrial settings

The guys at Total skills are great, helpful and knowledgeable, thank you Richard and Chris for delivering a clear and concise training program towards achieving a 2391 qualification. The facilities in the kitchen could do with up grading but that is no reflexion on total skills at all as it's rented business property

I finished off my 2365 L2 with Total Skills (after being badly let down by another provider) and then went on to complete the 2365 L3. The online training worked well for me and the on-site assessments etc were handled professionally. Thanks to Lucy & Mrinal for allowing me to complete the L2 at a small cost rather than having to repeat whole course.

Really enjoyed the Solar PV course and the tutor Richard was extremely knowledgable. Found that there is more to Solar PV installations, especially testing of the panels than i initially thought. I completed the 2365 level 3 diploma with Total Skills following studying the level 2 at night school in a local college. I couldn't stand the thought of giving up 2 evenings a week for 2 more years at college. Therefore, I am glad I changed to the hybrid format at TS. I found the training to be really good quality and much more flexible than the college.

I completed the 2391 inspection and testing last week with these guys and they were absolutely brilliant throughout. The free app is a lifesaver and I reccomend anyone going on the same course uses it as soon as they enrol. Will definitely put them as no1 go to for anyone looking to increase their qualification levels.

I completed the level two diploma in electrical installation with total skills. I was supported every step of the way right from the first phone call. The app and text book which are included in the price are a great way to learn at your own pace at home. There is a well equipped, immaculately kept workshop where you can attend practical classes. All abilities are catered for. Whether you’re already competent on the tools or a complete novice, the lecturers will take time and patience to guide you through the tasks needed to complete the practical assessments. I’ve really enjoyed gaining more knowledge and learning new skills. I would definitely recommend this course and Total skills to anyone wishing get into electrical work.

Took the 2391-52 course this week. Positives Loved the small class of 6, much better for one to one, and general involvement with other students. Relaxed atmosphere but also making sure you learn what you should be learning. Great quality of test rigs and knowledge. General involvement and not feeling left out. Good value for money. Negatives The lift is something out of a saw movie. UHT milk Honestly. They were all great, Richard, Kris, Lucy, Martins and Mrinal.

I was really amazed at the level of support I had with the team. They made sure I understood the training and were always patient enough to answer questions or go over any part of the training. My experience of the training at Total Skills has been excellent. I’ve worked in training for many years, delivering and assuring practical vocational training, and the staff at Total Skills are amongst the best I have encountered. I managed to compete the Level 2 diploma in under 6 weeks, in large part down to the excellent face to face tuition provided in their practice days. The online materials are fit for purpose and in a logical sequence. The presentation of new online theory material could be a little more creative, as this was largely text based and could benefit from more interesting media. I’m sure this will develop in time, and even considering this, I would say they are on par or better than some larger and more well known training providers I’ve used for EV charging and Inspection and Testing qualifications.

2391-52 Testing and Inspection. Brilliant course,People taking the course were very knowledgeable and helpful. For saying how intense this course is it was very well managed,as it’s no walk in the park.You need to do your regs before taking it and make sure you have all the up to date literature.Plenty of at home revision,and you should get through this!

I must say that Total Skills do what it says on the Packet "You will get hands-on training in small groups to ensure high quality training that is focused on understanding the fundamentals of electrical installation, working safely, and much more"​ True to their word, that is exactly what happened. The Management team are really helpful and I cannot praise their professionalism highly enough. The atmosphere is relaxed and I was accommodated at short notice, when I had not planned things correctly. The depth and breadth of information is second to none and the hybrid software platform makes revision for exams that much easier when you can work at your own pace and understand the subject matter. I recently attended Total Skills to gain the 2391 qualification in inspection and testing. The whole experience from booking to completion was organised and professional. The delivery of course content was excellent. Over all I was very impressed, so much so that I attended a few weeks after to do the Electric vehicle charging course, again delivered to a very high standard. EV Course-Excellent Course

I've flown through doing my level 2, level 3, 18th edition and inspection and testing courses in just a few months. Now I'm looking to do my NVQ. The course organisation has been very flexible for people who have changed from long distance learning to shorter on site courses. Exams can be sat just about whenever the site is open.

I started my course October 2021 and opted for the Thursday evening course. The Trainers we had were called Richard and Martin. I thoroughly enjoyed the way and speed in which I was taught. I passed my level 2 without any major problems at all. They might be a new company but they really know their stuff and teach you more than you expect. I went from building circuits from the consumer unit to now building hybrid generators for a firm I started this week. If you're keen to get into electronics then this is the place to go. 5 stars all the way. Also Lucy who will be your main point of contact does and amazing job. So hats off to her and all of the people at total skills. Thankyou for helping me progress. If my work want me to do level 3 then I will be doing it there and recommending Total skills if they look to roll it out with all the employees who don't have any electrical knowledge. I'm waffling on but thankyou 😁💛

Completed my 2391-52 with Total Skills. Very fair/reasonable price. With extremely high quality teaching delivered with great knowledge across the board. Just finished the 2391-52 Inspect and test. I cant recommend Total skills enough to anyone thinking of doing this course. Not the easiest course, but a brilliant team Richard , Chris and Lucy make for a friendly atmosphere. The smaller class size means a more one to one than other courses ive been on, so nobody gets left behind. The online pre-course resources were a massive help too. Will be going back for the EV 2919-01.

I enrolled on the 2365 Level 2 hybrid course. The course was perfect for me, as it allowed me to do my studying around my work and family commitments without it having any major impact to my life. I was able to do the course at my own pace which meant that stress was kept to a minimum. I was able to attend the training centre at a convenient time to undertake assessments and the practical aspects of the course. I was also able to do 2 of the exams from home via City & Guilds remote assessment. All of this was great because I live in Scotland and the only way I could do this qualification here is by attending a college course in the evening which wasn't really feasible for me. What really stood out for me was the level of service that I received. Right from the very beginning, Lucy the centre manager was very prompt in replying to my emails and answering all of questions and queries that I had about the course. Total Skills were very accommodating for my needs and I was able to arrange a block visit where I was able to attend in a single block visit to complete the practical training, the remaining assessments which I had and the practical assessment - This was fantastic as I live 350 miles away. I was very impressed when I attended the centre, it was a very friendly but professional atmosphere. The facilities were good, the workshop was excellent, good quality tools and equipment etc. I spent much of the week with the trainer Kris, who I have to say was outstanding, he made the practical aspect of the course both fun and enjoyable. He was very patient and gave me a lot of 1 to 1 coaching and advice throughout the week. I was really pleased with what I had learned and achieved by the end of the week. In terms of the study materials, I received my course materials the following day after enrolling on the course and access to the Total Skills app for my phone. The app was brilliant, as it meant that I could do my studying anywhere at any time without having to carry a textbook around with me. I was also able to continually test myself to see how I was doing and then take mock exams at the end of each unit. Overall I would highly recommend Total Skills and their 2365 hybrid course to everyone needing to undertake electrical training and qualifications. I could not fault them for anything, definitely 5 stars.

A big THANK YOU to the whole team for substantive presentation of knowledge during the Inspection and Testing Course which made it easier for me to pass the exam. I am very satisfied with choosing the Total Skills Centre and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wishes to take any electrical courses. I, of course, will be back for more soon.

Comprehensive training packages delivered in an easy to digest format with support from a staff member always at hand. All staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and went out of there way to help. Couldn't have asked for more.

With no prior experience to any electrical work, I started the Level 2 Hybrid 2365 where I could learn at home in my own time whilst still working. You receive training material through the post and access to their training app on your phone or tablet which is easy to use. They are available pretty much any time to answer questions if you get stuck or need any help. Lucy, Richard and Kris are friendly and easy to talk to which makes life a lot easier. I’ve found with their help, there really isn’t any stupid questions which they won’t answer or help you with! I’ve been a HGV driver for the previous 8 years and have already been employed with an electrical firm with this entry level 2 2365 diploma! Massive thanks to all the guys here! Highly recommend as they offer the most competitive price!

Amazing straight forward service! I never leave reviews but I've not a bad word to say about this college! They are not like the other colleges who just want your money. Very close-knit friendly team. I have just finished my level 2 with them and will be doing my level 3 & NVQ with them. I'm happy to travel from London to Nottingham. I highly recommend!

I have recently completed the C&G 2365 Level 2 Hybrid study with Total Skills due to living in Scotland. From the initial point of contact the staff were truly amazing. The whole process was explained clearly, and the staff made every effort to accommodate my needs. The course itself was very straightforward, and the ability to sit some of the exams online rather than in person has saved a lot of time and traveling. The practical sessions were very useful with very knowledgeable staff who explained every procedure clearly and made sure to correct any bad habits if you had previous experience in the industry. The course is VERY flexible, and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate every need and request you may have. Overall, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to starting 2365 Level 3 very soon!

I am an experienced electrician and found Total Skills to be an excellent training provider. I completed the City and Guilds Electric Vehicle course and found the course tutor to be experienced, knowledgable and thorough. I would certainly recommend and will use them again for training.

The training environment was well presented and the tools and testing equipment are all new. I have done C&G 2365 level 2 Electrical installations in college. I wanted to proceed to level 3 But due it takes another whole year I looked for alternatives. I've spoken with team of Total skills. They explained what is my options, how it is better to do. Thank you guys for patience and explaining in detail parts I did not understand. I will definatly go level 3 with you guys and all extra courses I will need afterwards to be fully qualified electrician. See you soon.
